Usage

The templates Template:Tl, Template:Tl, Template:Tl, Template:Tl and Template:Tl use HTML markup to create large, readable, common fractions "Template:1/2, Template:1/3, Template:3/3, Template:1/4, Template:3/3", as opposed to the often illegible "½, ⅓, ⅔, ¼, ¾" or horizontal "1/2, 1/3, 3/3, 1/4, 3/4". They are intended as concise, easily interpreted alternatives to {{frac|1|2}}, {{frac|1|3}}, {{frac|2|3}}, {{frac|1|4}}, {{frac|3|3}}.

• Bake for {{1/2}} hour.

generates:

• Bake for Template:1/2 hour.

without requiring the use of bulky HTML markup.

Please note that these templates do not handle preceding integers (or succeeding units) and the spacing in between, use Template:Tl for that:

• Bake for {{frac|2|1|2}} hours.
• Bake for Template:Frac hours.
